Contractor Connections was built to make business networking useful again—giving contractors a reason to meet beyond the usual circuit and a better chance of leaving with a valuable connection.
Why it was needed
Regional networking events can draw the same familiar crowd. We changed the venues, partners and programming to keep each room fresh while preserving a clear promise: meet credible people actively doing business in the region.
Why it fit BBB
The series made BBB’s role tangible. It brought trusted businesses together, gave community partners a practical way to participate and created a format that could work in different parts of Maryland.
Partnership model
BBB shaped and promoted the series. Host organizations supplied distinctive venues, while sponsors and regional partners helped introduce each event to new audiences.
My role
I shaped the positioning, promotional approach and partner story across four editions of the event.
